The US presidential reality show is over. And the winner is “The Donald”.
Against all official odds, Donald Trump was elected to become the 45th president of the “exceptional country”.
And despite getting fewer total votes than Crooked Hillary Clinton, he crushed her due to the way the most democratic electoral system in the world works.
And of course, it was Putin’s fault.
These world leaders make the top headline. They are strong, famous and they all have things in common. One of the things they all share is that they are probably the top world leaders who have humiliated Barack Obama either directly or indirectly with their words, policies and actions during the last 8 years. This way they’ve all contributed to the obvious trend of putting an end on the US dominance in the world.
The confrontation between the West and Russia is a popular issue and we often hear people trying to analyze the situation that fail due to understanding two very important points:
There are no national elites on the West – they are a transnational.
The importance of conceptual power.
It’s 2015. The world has not ended yet.
2014 was rich in significant events and important changes. In this article we will make a brief recap of what happened in the world during the last 365 days.
In one sentence it was another year of controlled global chaos – many things happened, people get confused, plans change but overall it seems that what happened was well orchestrated or at least expected to a big degree.
However 2014 had some events that will probably be historical marks in the future. So lets recap them.
The economic sanctions against Russia are a popular issue. Officially, they are meant to punish Russia for the situation in Ukraine. This is pretty hypocritical as long as US private military companies are present in Ukraine (not Russian) and the Nazi junta is killing a lot of civilians in Ukraine’s south-east regions with the blessing of the West. The sanctions have a different goal which can be explained through the geopolitical interests of the elites with Euro-Atlantic orientation.
Sergey Dorenko is a famous Russian TV and radio journalist. On the 4th April he published an interesting video monologue on his YouTube channel Rasstriga (literally “defrocking”), in which he criticizes the way the majority of people interpret Russian politics and explains Vladimir Putin’s role in the world’s political game.
Kiev is under control of the criminal parliament minority supported by neo-nazis and extreme nationalists. The Crimea region separated from Ukraine. The other regions inhabited by Russian speakers (the actual majority of Ukraine’s population) are ready to do the same as long as the nazi junta is posing a threat to them. Russian public figures and politicians are openly insisting on starting an intervention in Ukraine. The presence of Russian troops in Crimea and the massive military drills are a demonstration of Putin’s decisiveness to defend Russian geopolitical positions and economic interests. Western liberal propaganda is trying to demonize Russia but it is all bluff media puffery. Here is an explanation why.
Vladimir Putin’s political conceptions are often discussed and opinions vary from very positive to very negative. What is more, it is hard even for Russians to define his political views correctly. In Western media, Putin is traditionally criticized and frequently described as a dictator. But is this true?
