These world leaders make the top headline. They are strong, famous and they all have things in common. One of the things they all share is that they are probably the top world leaders who have humiliated Barack Obama either directly or indirectly with their words, policies and actions during the last 8 years. This way they’ve all contributed to the obvious trend of putting an end on the US dominance in the world.

Likely Future Scenarios For Greece And The EU After #Grexit

| June 30, 2015 | 0 Comments

Varoufakis and Tsipras

What is most likely to happen in the next week is a default of Greece. That means the country will be officially bankrupt. This is the news that makes all main headlines lately. But despite that Greece has been a main discussion topic over the last years very few people seem to understand what is going on and what are the real stakes.
Like with almost all main discussion topics people are fed with crap that suites one side or the other without even touching the surface of the real game that’s going on.

The Future of the Ukrainian crisis

| June 14, 2015 | 0 Comments

Aftnovorussian soldierer more than a year of civil war and bloodshed in South-Eastern Ukraine, the government in Kiev has to make a choice on what to do in the near future. The country is in a state of bankruptcy, the streets of Kiev are full of so called “patriotic” battalions who are actually neo-Nazis, people have no money to even buy essentials like food and medicine. While the government is still pledging that the EU and the US are going to help and Ukraine is going to turn into a paradise, the people in Ukraine start to feel like they were misled, as they truly were.  So, the government has several options:

Macedonia: Fight for European values or maybe something else?

| May 20, 2015 | 0 Comments

macedonian protests

In the past few weeks we are witnessing the largest protests in the history of the relatively new country Macedonia. What for the Western media seemed to be sudden protests for democracy, European values and against the corruption in the government, is definitely far from it.

First, we cannot talk about sudden organization and rise up of the people when in the town Kumanovo we saw how members of the National Liberation Army, which is an Albanian armed organization operating in Macedonia, were firing against policemen. In just days, more than 25 people were killed from which at least 8 were policemen.

Dnato oes NATO really exist? Seriously.
As the world gets closer to a new major war this question is worth asking.

Now, it may sound like a strange question… What do you mean with “does NATO exists?”, everyone knows it exists? It’s an official organisation. It does exist, right?

lavrov and kerryThe confrontation between the West and Russia is a popular issue and we often hear people trying to analyze the situation that fail due to understanding two very important points:

After the Paris Shootings – Is Europe in Danger of Terrorism? …Or Self-Destruction?

| January 11, 2015 | 0 Comments

paris shootings 2015I’ve learned over the last years to look how people intepret and what are their reactions to horrible events that have happened. And the way most people react is usually silly, primitive or ignorant. Of course those reactions and interpretations of events are usually forced upon via the mass media. It happens all the time, it’s kind of predictable.

This is important because the fact that someone sophisticated enough can predict and control the mass behavior of the crowd in case of specific event that takes place is a stimulus for inducing more events.
The shootings in Paris, France are an act of terror that naturally created all sorts of reactions.

Cancellation of the South Stream Gas Pipeline – Win for Turkey, Suicide for Europe

| December 6, 2014 | 0 Comments

south stream gas pipelineBe careful of what you are wishing for because it might come true. Europeans will learn it the hard way.
The top economic and geopolitical story of the last week is the cancellation of the South Stream gas pipeline project that had to directly connect Southeastern and Central Europe with Russia through the Black sea.
Apparently the project was closed by the Russian side after years of negotiations and preparation because they couldn’t come to an agreement with all of the participants from the European side. Instead Russia will build a gas pipeline to Turkey, signed and announced.

Igor Solonko – author of “Phenomenon of Conceptual Power”

People who like to talk about politics usually use clichés such as democracy, freedom of speech and freedom of choice. These hackneyed formulas for explaining the way how the world works are the main obstacles to understanding the political and economic processes both from the present and from the past.

In fact, we are witnessing a new type of a world war – some estimate that it is the third world war, other think that it is the fourth (meaning that the Cold war was the third). It much more than a traditional war with infantry, tanks, aircraft and battleships. It is a battle for your mind – a battle between neo-liberal bestiality and the search for new paradigms of human development. To help you understand what it is all about, we draw your attention to the priorities of conceptual power that are described in Igor Solonko’s monograph Phenomenon of Conceptual Power.
